How to install and debug Dalian chemical pumps?

Dalian chemical pump, as an important industrial equipment, has significant importance for modern chemical production. Reasonable selection and use of chemical pumps, strengthening their maintenance and upkeep, play an important role in improving work efficiency and ensuring industrial production safety. When designing chemical pumps, various factors need to be considered, including fluid properties, temperature, pressure, flow rate, pump head, and efficiency. According to different working conditions, different types of pumps can be selected, such as centrifugal pumps, volumetric pumps, jet pumps, screw pumps, etc. Centrifugal pumps are a common type mainly used for transporting liquids and can be divided into single-stage and multi-stage centrifugal pumps. Positive displacement pumps are suitable for transporting high viscosity liquids and media containing solid particles.

How to install and debug Dalian chemical pumps?

1、 Installation

Determine the location of the pump station: Select a suitable location for the operation of the chemical pump and install it according to the layout of the pump station to ensure smooth operation.

Install the pump chassis: Place the pump chassis in the designated position and secure it with bolts.

Installation foundation: Prepare the foundation by excavating soil according to the size and weight of the pump, and ensure that the foundation is flat and firm.

Install inlet and outlet pipelines: Install the corresponding pipelines according to the inlet and outlet dimensions of the chemical pump, and connect them with flanges.

Install motor: Install the motor on top of the pump and secure it with bolts.

Connect the drive device: Connect the motor to the pump shaft according to the usage requirements.

Installation accessories: Install accessories for the chemical pump as needed, such as protective covers, inspection ports, etc., to ensure completeness and safety.

Installation of instruments: Install the instruments required for the pump station, such as pressure gauges, flow meters, etc., as needed.

2、 Debugging

Check the process flow: Before starting the chemical pump, it is necessary to ensure that the corresponding process flow is fully prepared and the pipeline is cleaned to ensure unobstructed flow.

Check the electrical system: Check whether the power supply of the motor and control system is normal, and ensure that the power supply voltage and frequency are consistent with the requirements of the chemical pump.

Check liquid supply: Ensure that the supply pressure and flow rate of the liquid supply system meet the requirements of the pump, and check whether the medium being transported is normal.

Check the rotation direction: Ensure that the rotation direction of the pump is consistent with the rotation direction of the motor.

Check the sealing system: Check if the pump's sealing system is working properly to ensure there are no leaks.

The working principle of a chemical pump is to drive the rotor (such as impeller, gear, etc.) inside the pump body through a power device (such as an electric motor, diesel engine, steam engine, etc.), thereby generating a certain pressure to make the fluid flow and complete the conveying process. The pump body is generally composed of the pump body shell, impeller, impeller shaft, and other parts, with a complex structure and diverse fluid motion states inside the pump body.

A positive displacement pump is a chemical pump capable of transporting high viscosity and high-temperature liquids. It draws liquid into the sealed chamber through volume changes and then discharges it. The components of the positive displacement pump are precise, and the pressure of liquid discharge is more stable, making it suitable for transporting high concentration and high viscosity liquids. The disadvantages of a positive displacement pump are its large volume, heavy weight, and certain requirements for the temperature and viscosity of the liquid.
